Eat Now Pay Later has it bad in terms of fuel poverty relative to other groups. A significant number in this group is suffering from rising fuel costs and growing food shop bills. What does not help the situation is their aversion to proactive measures to help better their financial position. They are very much of the mindset of consume today and think of the consequences tomorrow. Forward planning is not something they have the time or inclination to do. This group scores one of the lowest in terms of motivation to change. Consequently, it has one of the highest Stress Scores of all groups. Another factor counting against Stressed and Stubborn is its low levels of disposable income and low credit score. The latter explains why there is a low level of home ownership in this segment.
